Simon Monjack (39) was found unconscious about 9:30 pm Sunday evening by Sharon Murphy. She called 911, but paramedics were unable to revive him, so he was pronounced dead.

Although prescription drugs were found, just like when Brittany Murphy died in the same house 5 months earlier, a drug overdose is likely not the cause of death. Simon said previously he had a heart attack in November of 2009 while aboard an airplane, causing a mid-air medical emergency. Simon was scheduled to have coronary artery bypass surgery in September, but appears to have died from sudden cardiac death first.

Clogged coronary arteries are not something to wait to take care of.

Now that Simon is dead, and can no longer try to scam people out of money in his wife’s name, Brittany Murphy can finally rest in peace.
