Sarah Ferguson, The Duchess of York, was caught on video tape Tuesday taking a $40,000 bribe to introduce a reporter, posing as rich tycoon, to her former husband Prince Andrew. The reporter promised to pay Sarah, aka Fergie, a total of £500,000, about $723,000, for an introduction in the hopes of making a business deal.

Fergie claims she has been having a lot of financial difficulty, and was extremely upset and crying in public after the news of the bribe scandal broke. Some say she might leave London after News of the World broke the story, an caught her on video tape.

Prince Andrew must feel very betrayed, and how Fergie must be feeling is beyond words. Fergie did say:

"I am very sorry this has happened. I can confirm the Duke of York was not aware or involved in any of the discussions that occurred. I am sincerely sorry for my actions."

Fergie did seem very comfortable in the video making this deal, so it makes me wonder if this is routine for her, or if she was just so amazed at her good fortune to see it was a setup.
